This blog has been set up to disseminate news about the SHERPA Services (RoMEO, JULIET and OpenDOAR). We are currently funded by JISC.

RoMEO is a database of scholarly publishers’ copyright and open access archiving policies. RoMEO is used academics and repository administrators to check the archiving permissions for academic publications before there deposit them in a repository. http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/romeo/

JULIET is a listing of funding agencies open access archiving policies. JULIET complements the RoMEO service provided by SHERPA for authors and repository administrators, which lists summaries of publishers’ copyright transfer agreements as they relate to archiving. http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/juliet/

OpenDOAR is primarily a service to enhance and support the academic and research activities of the global community. OpenDOAR maintains a comprehensive and authoritative list of institutional and subject-based repositories, that contain some full-text content. http://www.opendoar.org/
