SHERPA/RoMEO API Workshop at the Repository Fringe 2010, Edinburgh

We are pleased to announce that SHERPA will be running a Workshop on the RoMEO API on the 1st September in Edinburgh as a pre-event for Repository Fringe 2010
(http://eris.lib.ed.ac.uk/repofringe/).

The workshop will be in two parts:

The morning will begin with a brief introduction to the RoMEO database and the API, followed by three talks from users about their experiences in exploiting the API in their applications.

In the afternoon, you will hear how RoMEO is being re-engineered and how this may affect the API. There will then be breakout sessions in which you will be encouraged to let the RoMEO team know how you want to use the API, and what you would like the next major upgrade API to look like.

The provisional programme and the booking booking form are at: http://www.rsp.ac.uk/events/index?page=RoMEOAPI2010

This one day workshop is primarily intended for UK users. Overseas delegates will be welcome too, although there will be further opportunities to influence the development of the API.
